Kebocoran mengenai update OS Windows 8 yang kedua datang menghinggapi

mendatang.
Melalui sebuah gambar yang diklaim otentik berasal dari Rusia, informasi dari dokumen itu hampir sama dengan rumor yang beredar selama ini.
Sementara itu, update untuk Threshold masih menjadi rumor dan belum diketahui kapan akan dilaksanakan. Microsoft belum mengkonfirmasi apapun terkait gambar bocornya update windows 8.1 update 2 tersebut seperti dilansir Neowin, Senin (21/7/2014).
Belum diketahui seperti apa detail fitur yang dihadirkan pada Windows 8.2. Sementara Windows 9 dikabarkan memiliki tampilan antarmuka Metro baru.
Selain itu, terdapat menu start baru dan aplikasi Metro dengan tampilan jendela yang disertakan dalam update tersebut. Konon, Microsoft sedang mempertimbangkan membuat versi gratis dari Windows 9.
Informasi yang beredar juga menyebutkan bahwa Microsoft sedang bekerja pada Windows Cloud. Menurut WZor, ada tim di Microsoft yang bekerja pada prototype sistem operasi, di mana pengguna bisa mengunduh gratis dan menambahkan fungsionalitas melalui sistem berlangganan.

August update adds following new options in user settings to improve touch pad precision:
Miracast Receiver:
- Leave touch pad on when mouse is connected
- Allow right-click on the touch pad
- Double-tap and drag
This update provides a set of Wi-Fi direct APIs for Hardware Vendors and OEM companies to develop Windows 32-bit applications that can run on all supported 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) versions of Windows 8.1 and can enable the Windows 8.1 computer as a Miracast receiver.
Minimizing login prompts for SharePoint Online:
This update reduces the number of login prompts while accessing SharePoint Online sites. If the user enables the "Keep me signed in" check box while logging on for the first time, he'll not see prompts for successive access to that SharePoint Online site.
